Browser-only supplier workspace
GovBidFit’s supplier profile, locally added opportunities, saved shortlist, bid/no-bid assessments, proposal checklist, internal deadlines and private notes are designed to be stored in browser local storage on the device you use. They are not added to a GovBidFit supplier database by the current browser workspace.
You can download a local backup, restore a backup and clear the workspace data from the browser. Clearing browser storage through your browser settings can also remove locally stored GovBidFit data.
Information needed to serve the website
Like most websites, GovBidFit’s hosting and security providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, requested URLs, network diagnostics and security events. This infrastructure data is separate from the supplier profile stored by the browser workspace.
Contact form messages
\nIf you use the GovBidFit contact form, the name, reply email, topic, message, page URL and limited anti-abuse information needed to protect the form are sent to our private support inbox. These contact-form details are separate from the browser-only supplier workspace and are used to review, manage and reply to your message.
\nContact messages may be routed through the Site Command support system and its contact-message storage. Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, payment details, controlled solicitation information or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.
\nAnalytics
\nGovBidFit uses Metricool website analytics for anonymous, aggregate audience measurement such as visits and pages viewed. Metricool states that its website visit tracker does not use cookies, store information on the visitor's device, assign unique identifiers or store the visitor's IP address. The Metricool tracker can therefore run independently of the optional Google Analytics storage choice.
\nGovBidFit also uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-BN0TC6SFG8, to understand aggregate site usage, page performance and navigation patterns. The Google tag loads when a page loads, but GovBidFit uses Google Consent Mode so analytics storage is denied until a visitor accepts analytics through the on-site privacy choice. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization remain denied by this analytics setting.
\nYou can reopen the Google Analytics choice from the site footer and change your selection. Browsers that expose Global Privacy Control are treated as declining Google Analytics storage unless the visitor later chooses otherwise.
\nAdvertising
GovBidFit uses a direct advertising placement supplied by PerchAds across public opportunity, buyer, guide, homepage and discovery pages. Opportunity-detail pages use the right-hand opportunity sidebar; other eligible public pages show the placement near the start of the main content. The private supplier workspace and trust/contact pages remain excluded.
GovBidFit also includes the Google AdSense publisher tag on public pages. When Google advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may process information needed for ad delivery, measurement, security and personalization where permitted, subject to applicable consent requirements. Advertising-provider data practices are governed by their respective policies.
Links to official and third-party websites
GovBidFit links to official procurement sources and other external websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by those sites, not by GovBidFit. Review the privacy notices on the destination site when you leave GovBidFit.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as GovBidFit adds functionality, analytics, advertising or new data flows. The effective date above will be changed when the policy is materially revised.
